Seattle City Light's Constant-Angle Arch Dam at Diablo Canyon (1991)

unapi

Seattle City Light's Skagit Hydroelectric Project consists of three large hydroelectric power plants on the Skagit River: Gorge, Diablo, and Ross. Of the three, the history of Diablo may prove most interesting to scholars. Diablo is important not only for its engineering features and the role it played in Seattle politics and the municipal power movement but also for insights it can provide into the diffusion and acceptance of technological knowledge.
