Vyzdryk, Vitaliy (Author)
The article examines the introduction of advanced agricultural technology in the peasants', farmers' and landowners' farms during the interwar period. The development of market relations in Galician countryside in this period was accompanied by concentration of agricultural equipment primarily in the farms of large landowners and farmers and the lack of it in small farms, which still widely used primitive tools. The economic crisis of the early 30s of the twentieth century contributed to a sharp reduction in agricultural engineering and made negative impact on the purchasing power of the population. Key words: Galician village interwar period, farm implements, farm, peasants
