Chemistry Organic chemistry 19th century France Gerhardt, Charles Frederic Université de Montpellier

C.F. Gerhardt living in Montpellier for ten years as professor of chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences. Far from Paris, he worted alone and intensely on a Handbooks of chemistry relative to organic chemistry. Later, his Treature of chemistry result from time spent in the wilderness. Found also happiness trough the birth of his two sons.
