[Abstract translated by Google Translate: This is the abstract in English… Landscape is nowadays a phenomenon of great visibility. On the theoretical level, its origins are explained in two complementary ways: while on the one hand, at the beginning, the landscape coincides with the artistic genre of the same name, that is, with the painted landscape, on the other hand, and in a much more recent period, it corresponds to the experienced landscape, or rather to the mental representation of a cutout of nature. This essay proposes a third hypothesis: according to the author, the phenomenon is dialectically also the result of a series of modern technologies. The window, the cartography, the central perspective and various other inventions of man have made it possible to forge a landscape image of the world. Framing a glimpse of nature through the gaze is a cultural fact, mediated by scopic techniques, and not a capacity that the human being possesses a priori.]
