Pour une annotation sémantique des textes: le projet symogih.org et la Text encoding initiative (2016)

unapi

An annotation method for digital texts has been put in place within the project symogih.org. This method, which combines the project's historical ontology with the recommendations regarding the digital transcription of documents proposed by the Text Encoding Initiative (tei), allows historians to enrich semantically the texts they study before publishing them on the internet thanks to a dedicated platform. This contribution discusses the details of the digital environment that has been set up and offers some reflections on the contribution of this method to a more thorough reading of original documents as well as the digital development of historical scholarship.
