David R. Starbuck (Author)
Company histories, newspaper accounts, and physical remains are used to reconstruct the history and appearance of the Sewall's Falls Dam in Concord, New Hampshire, the longest timber crib dam in the eastern United States. Constructed between 1892 and 1894, the dam remained intact until 1984, at which time the mid-section washed away The dam's future is now highly uncertain.
