Since opening its doors in 1967, our medical school has grown and evolved into an internationally recognized leader in education and research. We’ve seen immense growth, life-changing research advancements and innovative shifts in health care that are improving lives every day. Our school has grown from one single building, the Health Sciences Centre, to a campus with world-class facilities such as the Advanced Technical Skills Simulation Laboratory (ATSSL), the Ward of the 21 Century, and the International Microbiome Centre.
