[Abstract translated by Google Translate: This is the abstract in English… Since the Middle Ages, the Great Commentary by Averroes to Aristotle's De anima was known to Western philosophers only in its Latin version, dating from the thirteenth century. Glosses in Arabic dictated to Jewish and Spanish student philosophers in the 15th century have been transcribed in Hebrew characters and preserved in a manuscript in the Estense Library in Modena. The text of these glosses is not identical to the Arabic original translated into Latin, but they bear witness to multiple and different versions. The intellectual part of the Commentary is available here.]
