[Abstract translated by Google Translate: This is the abstract in English… The theme of this book is the ethical character of today's knowledge: the founding forms - metaphysics and art; and those which derive their foundation from the former - the sciences. By "ethical character" we do not mean a moral characteristic detached from knowledge, but the link to a "source of meaning" thanks to which knowledge contributes to the construction of human ethos. This volume addresses the problem of these "ethical constraints" by bringing into dialogue metaphysical, scientific and artistic positions of various eras, from Plato and Leibniz to Newman and Heisenberg. The primary aim is to foster awareness of the radical nature with which the question of ethics is posed today.]
