Scholars from different eras often have different interpretations of an identical historical science event. This paper selects several typical cases in the history of Chinese geology from historical data of different periods and analyses the different interpretations of them. From such a research,the paper probes into the realistic concern of the study on history of science and provides references for the use of historical data.
