[Abstract translated by Google Translate: This is the abstract in English… Leonardo Da Vinci had significant relations with the village of Bacchereto and its ceramic kilns, especially thanks to the family possessions of his paternal grandmother Lucia, and then of his father, ser Piero. The volume reconstructs Leonardo's studies and his multiple experiences also in shaping clay: it is therefore more than reasonable to consider this experience as a beginning to the art of the genius of Vinci, not only in Florence but also in Bacchereto, in the Municipality of Carmignano. This territory and its Archaeological Park are characterized by splendid Etruscan remains and by the admirable Medici villa of Artimino, La Ferdinanda. During the 16th century, Bacchereto began its decline as a center for the production of artistic ceramics. Since 1974, the Archaeological Superintendence of Tuscany has started the recovery of numerous fragments of majolica exhibited in the Antiquarium of medieval and Renaissance Baccheretan ceramics at the Pieve di Santa Maria Assunta (detached section of the Archaeological Museum of Artimino 'Francesco Nicosia') and the identification kilns active mainly in the 15th century, with reflections in proto-Renaissance Florence revealed by excellent productions, which are now held in prestigious museums in Europe, America and Australia.
