The Early Scientific Connections of Richard Price (2020)

The minutes of the scientific meetings of the Royal Society reveal 23 meetings attended by Richard Price between 1751 and 1764, when he was not yet a Fellow. Examining the names of the Fellows present and the subjects discussed in those meetings we were able to unfold a network of connections Price established at a very young age. Given the scarcity of details about Price's early career, our article sheds some light on this period in the life of a Fellow of the Royal Society with key contributions in several fields.
