The author follows the interpretative schemes of Aristotelian natural philosophy with Diluvian and organicist influences. The geological observations in the Indian Flanders constitute equally remarkable contributions in fields such as mining ethnography, geological myths, meteorites or the history of disasters in Spanish America. The late publication of Rosales' manuscripts prevented the dissemination of his geological studies.]
