Die Moderne hat auch im Dreiländereck zwischen Deutschland, Tschechien und Polen ihre Spuren hinterlassen. Das trinationale Projekt „Topography of the Modern Movement“, kurz TOPOMOMO, widmet sich den Wohnbauten, Schulen, Fabriken, Rathäuser und Kirchen des neuen Stils. Zwischen Dresden und Görlitz, Weißwasser und Jablonec. Beispielhaft herausgegriffene Objekte stehen für die unterschiedlichen Ausprägungen moderner Baukultur in Europa. Durch die Randlage blieben viele von ihnen bislang noch unentdeckt. Die TOPOMOMO-Homepage informiert über Standorte und schlägt Routen durch das Projektgebiet vor. Eine Wanderausstellung zum Thema gibt es auch. Und nicht zuletzt ist im Winter 2014 ein hosentaschentaugliches Reiselesebuch für das Gebiet zwischen Neiße und Böhmen erschienen. Es umfasst alle Informationen zu den TOPOMOMO-Orten und -Touren. Als nächstes ist ein Buch über die polnische Moderne geplant.
