Muḥammad Kāẓim ibn Riḍā Ṭabarī's Scholia on Muḥammad Bāqir Yazdī's Commentary on 10th Book of Euclid's Elements (2015-2016)

Muḥammad Kaẓim ibn Riḍā Ṭabarī’s Ḥāshīya al-Maqāla al-ʿĀshira min ʾUṣūl al-Ḥisāb wa al-Handasa, written in the 13th/19th century, is in fact a collection of notes on the Muḥammad Bāqir Yazdī’s commentary on 10th book of Euclid’s Elements named Sharḥ al-Maqāla al-ʿĀshira Min ʾUṣūl Uqlīdus. In his commetary, Yazdī comments upon 67 propositions (out of 109 propsositions) of Euclid, and in the course of explaining Euclid’s demonstraions, he adds many useful points. Although Ṭabarī addresses almost all of the propositions of the 10th Book, a through analysis of his scholia shows that he made mistakes in several propositions and couldn’t understand the main concept of the 10th book of Euclid’s Elements
