Eine retrospektive chronobiologische Untersuchung der Sonnenfleckenzyklen bei Christoph Scheiner (2018)

unapi

Christoph Scheiner (1573-1650) closely observed and described the sunspots over a period of 20 years. This raised the question whether Christoph Scheiner has perceived a periodicity or whether a periodic structure can be found in his observations with the help of the modern Cosinor method. With this chronobiological method it was possible to prove retrospectively a periodicity of 12.1 years in Scheiner's sunspot observations.
