Questo volume affronta il tema delle origini dell’Eugenica in Italia e il contributo offerto dai cultori della Medicina Sociale all'elaborazione dei suoi contenuti. Il 1912 coincide con una data importante per il riconoscimento ufficiale di entrambe le discipline in Italia; questo traguardo è preceduto da un intenso “lavoro di preparazione” e seguito da un dibattito senza precedenti nell’Italia post-unitaria.
