unapi

In the current paper we have presented the procedures according to the Karaṇakutūhala of Bhāskara II (b. CE 1114) for (i) śīgraphala ('equation of conjunction') of the five planets and their maximum values and critical points; (ii) retrograde motion and the analysis of two stationary points for each planet; and (iii) the angular diameters of the Sun, the Moon and the Earth's shadow cone which are necessary for the computations of eclipses.
