[Abstract translated by DeepL.com/Translator: This is the abstract in English… This book proposes the first results of a broader research that investigates the complex landscape consisting of production and social innovations, economic dynamics, use of new materials and construction techniques, and building moments contaminated by different building cultures, which led to the formation of the first industrial buildings. Starting from the elements of typological connotation of archetypes and following their development and mutations, with comparison with real cases and verification with manuals, the work attempts to broaden the perspective within which to reconsider industrial archaeology.]
