This article primarily offers a critical edition of Pietro d’Abano’s Preface to hisExpositio Problematum Aristotilis. It is a text that is well known to Pietro scholars, mainly because it is here that Pietro tells us about the journey he made to Constantinople in order to learn Greek as well as about the Greek manuscript of ‘Aristotelian’Problematahe found there and then translated. I will not discuss here, again, the question of the content of this Greek manuscript.
