Le idee che si vedono. Forma e percezione in Goethe e Paolo Bozzi (2013)

unapi

The article proposes a comparative reflection between the experimental phenomenology of the psychologist and philosopher Paolo Bozzi and the morphological method of Johann Wolfgang Goethe. Starting from Bozzi's training within the Gestalt tradition and taking into account the recent interest shown by some exponents of analytical philosophy, this article highlights the fundamental features of the methodology used in Bozzi's work. In this context, the role played by the various observation techniques by means of an active and practical and not purely contemplative approach to the material is fundamental. Bozzi's interest in Goethian naturalistic writings, from morphological ones to Farbenlehre, allows us to highlight remarkable similarities with Goethean epistemology.
