[Abstract translated by DeepL Translator: This is the abstract in English… This volume presents a first result of the research on the "Informatione ingrassiana," a writing on the plague written by the physician Giovan Filippo Ingrassia (1510-1580) in the second half of 1576 and believed by many to be missing. This text, in particular, discusses and analyzes the remarks made by Ingrassia on the first and second parts of the work, i.e., on the etiology of the plagues and the measures to be taken to stem the spread of the contagion. The layout of the postulates corroborates the epistemological paradigm, adopted by the physician since the mid-1550s, and confirms with new examples his modus operandi.]
