Molti aspetti della sua lingua, però, non sono ancora stati indagati e quasi tutti i giudizi ammirati sulla prosa del grande scienziato non sono sorretti da un’analisi puntuale e sistematica delle forme, delle parole e delle strutture che convergono a definirla.
