[Abstract translated by Google Translate: This is the abstract in English… Starting in the last decades of the last century, a new model of mind has emerged: the so-called 'motor paradigm,' in contrast to the traditional conception of the mind that characterized modern philosophy and which was the basis of cognitive sciences in the twentieth century. According to the motor theory of the mind, there is no substantial separation between perception and action, between mind and body; the mind is 'formed' by the movements and for the movements (while, in the traditional conception, it simply plans them); moreover, movement is not only the means to carry out the commands of the higher brain centers (the mind), but it is mental activity that is the means - produced in the first instance by the brain and by the body as a whole - to actions. The author outlines the historical and theoretical path that led to the new models of the mind: starting from the first modern conceptualizations of the sensation-movement connection to theoretical developments - from philosophy to today's cognitive neuroscience - which have landed on the 'motor paradigm', on which the most recent approaches are based. The body and movement, therefore, as the starting point and at the same time the arrival point of more than four centuries of study of the mind.]
