Climate change is one of the important factors affecting social change,and research on the relationship of climate and society has become a hot topic in the academic circles in recent years. Climate change through every Chinese dynasty was written by Ge Quansheng and other scholars.On the basis of full and accurate historical literature materials,the book conducts an in-depth exploration of facts on climate change as well as its impact on society scientifically. It is considered as one of the most significant works in this field for it offers innovation in its system and content. This paper reviews the content and main features of this book. Besides,Ge’s perspective on selected materials and his main research proposition have been fully affirmed. The book is of high value for the study and research of the history of science.
