unapi

In this paper we present new findings on documentary Crisostomo Martinez, a key figure in understanding the anatomy of the Spanish Baroque and novator movement. Some new biographical data on its probable date and place of birth and her unknown family are provided; also news relating to a given author's first direct negotiations with the Crown in 1683 for the application of the pension that would allow her trip to Paris. In addition, different reports for the last deliberation of the Court in this matter and realize the problems suffered by the anatomist to collect the amounts agreed once moved to Flanders are analyzed.
