The Spanish daily Humboldt is surprisingly in a folder of his legacy in Berlin, where it collected the materials for publication on the Spanish plateau in magazine Hertha, not bound journals of their American tour. This explains why they had not been discovered until recently. The manuscript contains geognostic descriptions, observations on the climate, vegetation, atmospheric electricity, etc.. The comparison with the Humboldt published in 1825 on the Spanish plateau we made in the notes of this edition will provide the reader with a scientific approach to the typical methods of Humboldt.
