Keiteki Shu and the Autonomy of Japanese Medicine (2012)

The article focuses on the role of Manase []san, compiler of Chinese medical system "keiteki Shu" for Japan. It includes information on "[]" medicine which are considered to be an autonomous Japanese medical system along with its subsequent development. The rise of "Gose-ha medicine school" which accomplishes certain localization to the Japan context before the establishment of "[]-ha medicine school" is also described.
