A Monograpbie der Moneren (Monografla das moneras) de Ernst Ha-eckel, cuja tradutio da introduceº aqui oferecemos, insere-se de modo fundamental no projeto do autor de construclo de uma morfologia evolucionista. Tal projeto vem a publicº pela primeira vez em 1866 COM 2 eclicio de SIM Gtfletrik Moi0ologie (Morfologia geral). ESS2 01319 monumental ampliou-se ao longº de coda a caffein de Haeckel, des-dobrando-se em inumeras monografias e obras gerais que se distin-guem pela sintese de investigatio empirica a te6rica. Sao pontos altos desse desdobramento a publicasio da precria Monografia das moneras ern 1868, dos Palen tur Gar/rata-Mork (Estudos sobre a Teoria da Gastrea) entre 1873 e 1876, e da Die Perigenesic der Phut:calk (Perigene-se dos plastidulos) em 1876. Tais obras incluiram contribuicoes e desenvolvimentos significativos pan a teoria haeckeliana das formas organicas.
