Chen, Yue (Author)
In Late Ming and Early Qing China, Xuanji Yishu , written by a Ming Loyalist Jie Xuan, focuses on the model of the cosmos and the movements of stars. J ie Xuan's contemporaries and later astronomers, such as You Yi, Mei Wending and An Qingqiao, partly quoted and discussed on his cosmological discourses. This paper analyzes these three scholars' comments on Jie Xuan's cosmology, and estimates the influence of J ie Xuan's work. As for the reason of the limited influence of Jie Xuan's work, this paper also gives an analyse.
