Xue Fengzuo (1599-1680) ,the person who first applied the heliocentric theory of Copernicus in Chinese astronomy and first introduced Logarithm into China, implemented the unique intercourse mode on the scientific relationship between China and western countries. It is no doubt that Xue Fengzuo is t e pioneer of western science spreading in the Qing dynasty and an outstanding scientist who knew about the science of China and western countries, especially did some intercourse work on the scientific relationship between China and western countries. Xue Fengzuo was one of the key personnel members of Sirhak Trend between the Ming-Qing dynasties, but also an outstanding representative of the openness spirit in the Qi culture. However, there are few researches about Xue Fengzuo in the academia, which is not commensurate with his status in the scientific history and culture history. Therefore, there's a great need for us to study his Scientific and technological thought in depth from eight aspects such as astronomical reckoning, mathematics, water conservancy, medicine, mechanics and machinery manufacturing, accounting for post-mortem, the life stories, philosophy of science and technology and the culture of science and so on.
