Christian Huygens((1629-1695)) was a pioneer of Probability Theory. Huygens' treatise is the first published work on probability theory. The work is an important turning point in the development history of the probability theory.The work introduced the concept of expectation,replaced previously numerical results about probability theory by systemizing, formulating and generalizing the problem firstly, and found Huygens' analytical method.
