During the special period of Chinese history that Western Astronomy spread to China?both foreign missionaries and Chinese scholars worked together in Qintianjian (Imperial Board of Astronomy) of the Qing Dynasty and did lots of useful works. Not only they revised the calendars and the catalogue, but also made new astronomical instruments and made a large scale survey of the celestial body. All the activities made very important contributions to Chinese Astronomy Development.
