Spacetime Visualisation and the Intelligibility of Physical Theories (2001)

unapi

Description In “Spacetime, Fields, and Understanding: Perpectives on Quantum Field Theories”. Special Issue. Using an historical analysis of the transition from classical to quantum physics, an alternative conception of the intelligibility of scientific theories is proposed, based on Heisenberg's reinterpretation of the notion of Anschaulichkeit (visualisability).
