Was Bayes a Bayesian? (1987)

unapi

Description This paper analyzes Thomas Bayes' essay of 1763, together with the additions by Richard Price, in relation to (1) historical influences and (2) the Bayesianism of the 20th century. The author argues that Price's additions were in essence answers to Hume's problems of induction.
